Andrew Pease is the global head of investment strategy for Russell Investments. He is responsible for the short to medium term forecasting and asset class valuation framework that guides Russell’s enhanced asset allocation processes. Bob is chief research strategist for Russell Investments’ Americas Institutional business. He is responsible for the strategic advice delivered to the various parts of Russell’s institutional client base, working with the manager research team, product groups and other research efforts across Russell. Bob joined Russell in 1994 as a consultant in the U.K., and has worked for Russell in the U.S. since 2002. He previously worked for William M. Mercer’s actuarial and investment practices.
Bob co-authored, with former colleagues Don Ezra and Matt X. Smith, The Retirement Plan Solution: The Reinvention of Defined Contribution, published by Wiley Finance. This book sets out a vision for the improvement of the DC system, addressing inefficiencies and opportunities that exist both before and after retirement.
Bob is also the author of a long list of wide-ranging research papers on topics large and small. These include Russell’s Corporate Pension Finance Handbook, Don’t Marry a Model, the $20 Billion Club (which follows the progress of the largest corporate pension plans in America), Liability-Responsive Asset Allocation,Dimensions of Difference in Non-Profit Investing, the T standard (a standardized method for the calculation of portfolio performance during a transition), and Responsible Investment: Five Tests of an SRI/ESG Policy. He has also written on subjects as diverse as risk management, global equity indices, the use of options, foreign exchange trading, fund governance, hedge funds, behavioral finance, liability-based benchmarks for fixed income mandates, volatility-responsive asset allocation, defensive equity, mark-to-market pension cost accounting and many more.

Brian Ingram is the President and General Manager of Russell Investment Advisors (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (“RIASL”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Russell Investments launched in July 2015. RIASL provides multi-asset, multi-manager advisory solutions to both domestic Chinese institutional clients and foreign investors seeking exposure to onshore Chinese equities (A-shares) and fixed income securities. The firm has dedicated, Shanghai-based investment staff to support manager research and portfolio management functions.
From March 2011 – June 2015, Brian was the founding Head of Investments and CIO of Ping An Russell Investment Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (“PAR”), a ground-breaking joint venture between Russell Investments and Ping An Group that is credited with introducing multi-manager investment solutions to the domestic Chinese market. By June 2015, PAR advised domestic and foreign client assets totaling USD $1.8B across absolute return fixed income, relative return equity, and absolute return multi-asset strategies. Over this time period, the PAR investment team research over 400 mainland China asset managers, including mutual fund, brokerage asset management companies, and private hedge fund managers.

David Vickers is a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Multi-Asset Solutions team at Russell Investments, where he and his team are responsible for the active management of approximately $5,000,000,000 of assets, including the flagship Multi Asset Growth portfolio. The majority of these assets have outcome orientated objectives and as such David play a key role in the formation of the firm’s dynamic and tactical asset allocation policy.
David joined Russell in 2013 from Sarasin & Partners where he was the lead fund manager within the multi-asset team. During his tenure at Sarasin, David managed The Alpha Common Investment Fund, Sarasin’s flagship charity endowment fund, for which his team won the FT charity fund Managers investors award in 2011, 2012. David was also a core member of the investment policy committee that set the asset allocation and investment strategy for the firm. He was made a partner in 2011.
David joined Sarasin’s in 2007 from Baring Asset Management, where his primary responsibility had been the management of multi asset portfolios for ultra-high net worth charities and private individuals. Van Luu is the Head of Currency and Fixed Income Strategy in the Investment Division, based in London.
